    1943 - 1945 German WW2 WWII Luftwaffe Flying Helmet Type LKpW101, manufactured by SIEMENS. Winter pilot’s helmet; dark brown leather outer shell with shearling lining; molded hard leather ear cups with internal earphones with patch cord with cloth insulation and hard plastic plug; attached throat microphone at the back nape of helmet with snap connection; buckle chin strap; 2 snap buckles on back for goggles; tan cotton web size adjusting strap on back of helmet; 2 hooks for oxygen mask. Exact helmet model, manufacturer, and vintage found in Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Weighs approx: 12.2 oz
