WW2 German helmet band for camouflage - well used showing age

Here is a very hard to find red rubber band used for adding camouflage material to your German Helmet. I have a limited number of these old and used straps. During WW2 the Germans used everything possible to break up their profile. In the 1940's car and truck tires used rubber inner tubes that were made from red rubber. The Germans would cut these inner tubes into bands to attach to their helmets. This auction is for (1) red rubber band of this type, cut by hand as was done during the period. These are well used and show dirt and age. They have been used and they show it, some more than others. These will fit right in with your original used helmet.
