WW II German Air Force Stecker - FLIGHT CAP COCKPIT PLUG - NICE!

Description

You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example of a Fliegerkopfhaube (Pilot Helmet) Plug, Ln.27969, as used in all fighter and bomber aircraft including the Me109, Fw190, Me262, Ju88, Me-110, Ju-87 and others!
This plug was located as part of the pilot's flight helmet.
The pilot would plug the wire from the radio directly into this plug on his helmet for easy communication with other pilots.
This is the connection that plugged TO the German Flight Helmet (LpKN101, LpKW101, etc.). FROM the radio equipment.
Made of bakelite and aluminum, this helmet plug is in SUPERB used condition.  It has some very minor scratches due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance.  The Fl. number is easy to read, and indicates, Ln. 27969.  I have indicated where it plugs into in the last photo.  A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
