WW II German Air Force - FLIGHT CAP RADIO PLUG - FUG III FUG V FUGVI - RARE!

Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of a Fliegerkopfhaube (Pilot Helmet) Plug Set, as used in all early fighter and bomber aircraft including the Ju88, Me-110, Ju-87 and others! This was used quite early in the FuG III, FuG V, and FuG VII (with Adb 6 connection).
This plug was located as part of the pilot's flight helmet. The pilot would plug the wire from the radio directly into this plug on his helmet for easy communication with other pilots. This is the connection that plugged TO the German Flight Helmet (LpKN101, LpKW101, etc.). FROM the radio equipment.
Made of bakelite and aluminum, this helmet plug and wire extension is in SUPERB used condition. It has some very minor scratches due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance. The Fl. number is easy to read on each plug, and the wiring is 100% intact, however it is a bit dirty. This was used in conjunction with the early flight helmets and radios...so if you are trying to complete a nice Ju87 display, then this is the flight helmet connection you will need!  A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
