    Description

    Here is a beautiful hand carved oriental stand with a wonderful picture of a Scholar looking at the scenery and birds.
    I am not sure if this picture is hand painted.  I couldn't find a signature.  It is really finely done.   The stand is 11inches wide by 9inches tall.  As you can see in the pictures, it is intricately carved with cranes large and small and trees and blossoms.
    I found this at an estate sale that was filled with oriental delights.
