VTG Vietnamese Conical Rice Hat/ Palm Leaves,Bamboos/Flowers & Dragons Embroider

Vintage Vietnamese Rice Hat of conical shape. 14” in diameter. 10” in depth.
Bamboo and palm leaves woven over circular bamboo frames.
Inside is embroidered with colorful wool to represent flaming dragons and flowers.
The old ribbon is still there even though it has lost its original red color. It is now old rose in color and held with twisted cotton yarn. Underneath the fine palm and bamboo weaving you see gold diamonds. These seem to be made gold leaves as they are still perfectly gold.
This is a rare and beautiful specimen of early 20 th Century rice hat.
