VINTAGE GENERAL QUICK-AID BRASS FIRE EXTINGUISHER -CHRIS-CRAFT 1958-

Description

This is an empty vintage brass fire extinguisher made by the General Detroit Corp. and it is the Quick-Aid 85 HD model. It is the 1 qt. size and comes with it's original mounting bracket which has a new coat of paint.  The extinguisher has be polished and lacquered and displays very well.  It has NO dents and NO dings.  It is about 13" long and 3" in diameter.  The label retains nearly all of it's original paint.  The former web site vintagefe.com stated that from 1937 to 1960, General fire extinguishers were featured in Chris-Craft accessory catalogs. This would be the correct extinguisher for 1958 Chris-Craft.  This would make a great addition to a collection or displayed on a vintage boat.
