If your work requires only 2 precision ground flat surfaces, you can save a little money with these.  If you prefer stones ground on 4 sides with the adjoining sides painstakingly ground to be as perpendicular as the fixed jaw of a clean Hermann Schmidt vise, or precision ground cylinder stones for cylindrical or tapered ID work, please check out my other listings.
5/8" x 1-3/4" x 4" stones are ground on 2 faces with a diamond wheel.  Sides and ends unfinished.  Fine/coarse grit.  Handy, lightweight size gives a more sensitive "feel" than larger, heavier stones.
Are stones ground on more than 2 sides necessary for dressing adjacent perpendicular surfaces such as Vee blocks or vise jaws?  Not if you're careful.  You can dress two adjacent perpendicular surfaces, one at a time, using only the face of a stone with 3x5 card positioned to protect the other surface.
