some photos show this *KIT* installed in a wah shell. THERE IS NO WAH SHELL. PCB, pot, jacks or harness included!

the 2003-ish cCyde mcCoy vox wah V848 was a long awaited reissue of the most famous vox wah of all times.
it sounded great, but had a few shortcomings. noisy scratchy pot, shrill treble, high hiss level and a narrow frequency range ( which, to be honest, is how most real clydes sound )
our new SUPER 848 kit makes a great wah sound even more authentic.

SUPER gives a very musical experience
that seems to pull the nuances right out of your guitar and fingers!
this kit contains:
- SABBADIN halo replica inductor , using correct 60s vox style magnets and wire, lovingly hand wound one at a time in nico's shop to exacting specs.
JOE GAGAN SMOOTH POT,  RV4 military grade pot , 500k audio for a long , even taper and classic real wah tones. the 500k also helps round out the treble for a
slightly creamier
top end.
-2 low noise medium transistors- our
special
recipe.
the real vintage feel.
-1k gain trim pot, to help tailor the volume, grit and low end to your taste.
-huge sprague cap off inductor (broadens the harmonic spectrum.
)
-various quality caps for you to add under PCB to achieve the sweet tone.
-fits most gcb95 and other dunlop wahs, most vox wahs. fits all US vox from 92 to 2004 ( says 'made in USA' on bottom plate)
will fit the post 2005 china made V845 and V847 , but more extensive PCB work is required. recommended for adavanced modders on the post 2005 china vox.
NO INSTRUCTION OR SCHEMATIC is included, but you can see how we removed the buffer components ( bypass must be connected underneath ), the 10 uf is as shown, the 1k (102) bias trimpot in the listing photos, and the 200k(204) input volume goes in the R 15 slot.
