Description
German Helmet LinerThis is an original, albeit damaged, pre-WWII German M193
1 helmet liner system. The leather liner is a size 57; to be paired with a size 64 helmet shell. Its reinforced aluminum band showcases a 1938 production stamp by Schuberth-Werk K.-G. Braunschweig. Much of the leather has unfortunately been cut away and dyed post-war by the Norwegian military. The damaged leather chinstrap was manufactured in Berlin in 1941 by Otto Sindel. This would be an ideal liner system for an M35 helmet in equally rough condition. There are no split pins included.
