Norton India Precision Ground Flat Stones, Diamond Ground Tool Room Stones 6"

Description

Precision ground on my surface grinder with a 150 grit resin bonded diamond wheel.  In the last picture the dirty old stones are my personal set.  I have been using them for about five years and they have been cleaned twice in that time.  They are still very flat as the stones don't wear when used correctly.  When diamond ground the stones are sheered completely flat and they have no bite.  They are ideal for deburring precision surfaces like grinder chucks, machine ways, and measuring tools.  If you want to learn more about ground flat stones Robin Renzetti has excellent videos on YouTube.  He is the reason I made my first set.

The set includes 1"x2"x6" stones with a lip. Sold only as a set of 2.

-Faces are ground and one edge on each stone is ground with a lip for reaching under edges

-Will not remove material from flat surfaces only takes off burrs that may be sticking up.
