    These were produced by The New England Confectionery Company before they filed for bankruptcy.  Great Collectors item, and Necco Wafers are the oldest US made candy still available today, and this box is in the original New England Confectionery Co. (NECCO) packaging.  Can no longer be found on the market.
    Although product is past its best by date, it is still fine to consume, but just as good as a valuable collectible and part of US candy history.
