The Morpurgo Family, refugees from the Spanish Inquisition, again became Holocaust refugees in 1940, going from riches to rags then back up to riches yet one more time, through their dogged determination to preserve their artistic and scientific skills and share in 'The American Dream'.
Millions of displaced persons everywhere today have the ability to do the same.  One such global economic recovery plan is the planting and nurturing of cash-crop trees and hydroponics on barren or ravaged land, even while tapping internet social networking and other futuristic means of staying connected 'melting-pot fashion' to the global community as both artists and scientists -
thereby bringing Democracy and Universal Human Rights
to new futuristic communities.
Such islands of cultural enlightenment will very quickly appreciate in value and can eventually be sold to

anxious to properly feed the world and reduce carbon imprint.
