They flew combat air patrol, escort and recce missions (with the TARPS pod) off of the Carrier
Roosevelt
, which was sailing in the Persian Gulf. The
Theodore Roosevelt
left her homeport on 28 December 1990, arriving just in time for the start of the hostilities on 17 January 1991.
In this scene, we're flying along with a "Cat" during a dawn patrol along the border of eastern Iraq...

About the Artist
David is an award winning Fine-Arts Airbrush Artist whom has spent the last 25 years illustrating the legendary names in the sport of Drag Racing. His prints have sold all over the world and his artwork is frequently featured in magazine articles.
