Perhaps the best reproduction liner available on the market.
Far superior to other reproductions on the market, especially the low quality ones from China (this is not made in China
He  are made in same fashion as the original. High quality genuine leather cut in the same manner assembled on an  aluminum outer and  aluminum  inner band.
The band is stamped with the liner head size and appropriate shell size.
Also this aluminum band is a reinforced type; notice one of the supporting/reinforcing aluminum strips attached to the outer band with 4 small aluminum rivets.
Markings on an aluminum liner dated 1940. «D.R.P.» means Deutsche Reichs Patent and the manufacturer is Schuberth-Werk K.-G. in Braunschweig. The abbreviation K.G. stands for Kommanditgesellschaft which means Ltd. or Limited.
Markings on the other side of the same aluminum liner. The liner would be fitted in a size 64 shell for a wearer with head size 57. The letters «n.A.» means «neue Art» or new model. ​
The 1940 dates makes this most acceptable for an M40 shell, though this liner will certainly fit M35 or M42 helmets.

How do I install the liner?
1. Find the rear seam on the outer liner band (there are two rivets and hole)). Place the liner in the shell and line hole up with the rear hole in the shell. Install the first split pin (you will have to hold the inner leather band out of the way while you spread the split pin).
2. Line up the 2 front holes in the shell and liner band, and install the last 2 pins (same as above).
