German WW2 M40 helmet (Size 66/58)

Description

German WW2 M40 helmet shell size 66/58. This was a German/Finnish M40/55 helmet converted back to wartime use. Post war West German government were contracted by the Finnish government to reproduce the M40 helmets that were used during wartime Germany in the mid 50's to be used by the Finnish Army. Installed reproduction genuine leather liner with exact split pins along with reproduction leather chin strap. Double coated spray in early wartime Apple grun (green). This is a solid helmet great for reenactment or to simply add to collection. Was planning to add Double decal but decided to leave that up to the buyer.
