Fallschirmjäger German paratrooper WWII Helmet M38 Luftwaffe WW2.
Liner is not correct for this type of helmet but appears old, possibly late war?? Can’t find any markings on the helmet, but came in a grouping of other WWII items. The liner has some writing on it. Unknown if real or reproduction but looks old, worn, & beat up. Chin strap is worn and brittle in places but snap still works. Helmet itself doesn’t look bad except the dent on top and the scrapes and scratches on it. We are not experts and only know what we have found online. Item is sold as is.

One eBay user stated it is a Post war West German GSG9 helmet that is quite rare. That someone put a decal on.
Found online: GSG9 GERMAN HELMET VERY SIMILAR TO THE WW2 GERMAN PARACHUTE HELMET. VERY SOUGHT AFTER AND GETTING HARDER TO FIND. RARE EXAMPLE OF A SPECIAL FORCES HELMET.
