The Uniden SDS200 is arguably the best radio scanner ever made. And it looks like it will be the best for many, many years to come. But we like to make things better…
First, let us fix the massive chrome-plated main function knob that doesn’t match anything else on the scanner. We redesigned the knob to be easier to grip and use. We also redesigned the volume and squelch knobs to make them easier to grip.
Also, we like to use this scanner in the vehicle and on the desk. We leave the factory mount in the vehicle and we designed the desk mount to make it easier to see the screen without the need to use the vehicle mount. The mount holds the scanner at a perfect angle nice and steady and is very easy to assemble and take down for travel.
