Compass of Adrianov is a regular military wrist compass in the Soviet Army.
The compass is a special navigation tool, created to facilitate orienteering.
Principle of operation: magnetized arrow that shows on the magnetic pole of the Earth.
The design of the compass was created by Russian cartographer V.N. Adrianov. Along with artillery Compass of Adrianov was considered to be the most common navigation tool in the Armed forces of the USSR
