Original Dodge truck toy Union 76 gas promo sign, looks to have been a window banner sign. Has edge,corner wear and soiled from use at the service station.  Made of canvas with wood beam for hanging,
see pic. circa 1968. Very large, over 6 feet long. Last photo shows actual toy with box for reference only, not part of the auction.
The Union Oil Company of California (later known as Unocal) introduced the
Union 76
brand to their existing Union Oil service stations in 1932.

After expanding along the West Coast, the
Union 76
brand expands to the Midwest and Southeast through the acquisition of
Pure Oil Company
in 1965.

In 1989, Unocal begins to gradually exit the Midwest and Eastern markets.
