1960's X-LARGE COUNTRY FOLK ART PAPER-MACHE DECOUPAGE HOLSTEIN COW FIGURE
Up for purchase is AN OUTSTANDING, HOLSTEIN HEIFER/COW OR BULL (YOU DECIDE) FIGURE. I have always called her 'Big Bertha', but you can call her anything you want. The cow is heavy having a basic form of hollow plywood. She was then covered in Paper-Mache or Decoupage and hand painted black and white. She was given classic, 1960's, round, beady cartoon eyes. She is 10 1/2" in height, 14" in length and a whopping 38" in circumference. She weighs 4 pounds, 6 ounces. All measurements are approximate.
As the pics show, she is without damage of any kind.
She has a terrific patina (a soft, warm, white color due to decades of passed time, love and care).
