    Description

    This rare and original print entitled Cotton Culture appeared in Harper's Weekly in 1875 and depicts the planting of cotton seed.  The artist is E. A. Abbey, one of the most noted illustrators of that era.  The frame is uniquely suited to the age of the black and white print and is made to look like old, weathered barn wood.  This original print is matted as well.  The small age marks and the paper color are consistent with the age of the print.
    The size is 15 X 10.5 inches.
